Music Maniac

It’s true…
I am a music maniac.  I love all kinds of music as long as it evokes an emotion it’s going to end up on a play list some where on my computer.

I tend to listen to rock more than any thing else and to be honest I don’t have the greatest appreciation for pop.  Bubble gum music does have it’s place in the universe though I’m sure.  I’m just not clear on what it is.  Maybe it’s so we have whacked out pop princesses to laugh at but then again there are some rockers out there that have done some incredibly stupid things as well.

My favorite bands/musicians tend to change on a daily basis.  I believe asking some one their favorite band/musician is just plain wrong.  Can we get at least a bit more specific here?  I mean with all the genre’s out there to ask who a persons top musical act of all time is, well that’s  just stacking the deck now isn’t’ it?

From time to time I’ll post my personal play list for you guys.  This will give you the best idea of what kind of music I like to listen to while I’m here posting or riding around in my car.

I also welcome feedback.  I may say some rather nasty things about a group you like.  Don’t just set there and take it man… tell me I’m wrong.  But please if your going to tell me I’m wrong give me a decent reason why.  If not I’ll be forced to roast you over a slow playing version of Copa Cabana.  If you don’t know the song count your blessings… no one should be forced to listen to Barry.

So what the heck am I listening to right now?
Well my friends that would be Puddle of Mudd, Never Change off the Come Clean CD.  While I’m not sure if I would say it’s the best PoM to date it’s a really strong CD.  People probably would know the songs Control or She Hates Me as those both got huge radio and MTV play.  If you don’t have it yet run on over to Amazon and pick it up.
